Polski Portal Kultury O.pl zamieścił mój tekst Sztuka w miejscu innego będący podsumowaniem roku 2012 w sztukach wizualnych.

Summary of some academic activities and publications in 2012:

Mar

• Preparing the concept for the  exhibition of artworks illustrating the issue of Internet-based celebritism within  the exhibition Wywyższeni. Od faraona do Lady Gagi (The Elevated: From the Pharaohs to Lady Gaga) that was taking place in The National Museum in Warsaw between 17 May and 23 September 2012.

• Taking part in the XV edition of The Poznan Festival of Art and Culture in the presentation Spacer ze sztuką (Artwalk) with dr Justyna Ryczek.

• I was interviewed by Rares Iordache:  Open Windows to the next template – published in „Net-Art 2.II Journal”online.

• A lecture within Academia Electronica (Second Life):  From the Real to the Virtual and In Between.

• Opening of the exhibition The Elevated: From the Pharaohs to Lady Gaga in National Museum in Warsaw.

• Taking part in the 7th Global Conference Cybercultures. Exploring Critical Issues, organised in Prague by the Inter-Disciplinary.net and the Charles University. Presenting a paper within Cyber -Archeology panel. The e-book is going to be published soon, the hardcopy is planned for 2013.

• The book I have reviewed :  Podstawy technologii multimedialnych dla artystów by Przemysław Sanecki was published byFaculty of Multimedia Communication of the University of Arts in Poznan.

• My review of Mediations Biennale Niepojmowalne/The Unknown taking place in Poznań, in the essay „Negatywne zdolności sztuki”(Negative capabilities of art) published in the Magazine O.pl

• Taking part in the discussion panel „Shaping light as artistic strategy” along with Branko Franceschi, Karolina Głusiec and Natalia Mount, organised within Light Move Festival in Lodz

• Speaking at the conference Czy wszystko już było? Między repetycją a nowością w sztukach wizualnych (Has everything already happened? Between repetition and the newness in visual arts) organised in the University of Arts in Poznań.
• Taking part in the discussion panel „Between art and utility. What has graphic design changed in the world of art? How it changes perception?” along with Weronika Lewandowska, Tomasz Gęstwicki and Dawid Lesiak, organised within Vivi Motion 2012.
